MONSEY, NY – The Roadrunners are off to a 2-0-0 season following their Friday night 6-4 win over the Pirates of Seton Hall University. Ramapo capitalized on a power play early in the opening period, with Dmitry Danilchik netting the goal at 8:14 on an assist from freshman Kyle Debel.  Debel followed with a goal of his own at 15:44 on an assist from Marc Concato giving Ramapo a 2-0 lead heading into the second period.

The Roadrunners continued their domination in the second period.  Zach O’Connor and Marc Concato scored only 40 seconds apart to give the Roadrunners a commanding 4-0 lead.  Seton Hall scored at 6:37 cutting the Roadrunners leadto 4-1.  Ramapo’s Matt Rose widened the scoring gap on an assist by Kyle Debel. That was his third point of the game.

The second period continued to heat up when Charlie Mule of the Pirates ignited a fire under his team with two power play goals in quick succession that made the score 5-3.

Keith Doherty’s empty net goal late in the third period ultimately sealed the deal for a Ramapo victory.  Seton Hall’s Charlie Mule would complete his hat trick in the dying seconds of the game. Despite giving up four power play goal, Ramapo downed the Pirates 6-4.
