ASHTON, PA – Ramapo put up 10 goals in the first two periods en route to a 12-1 blowout of Widener.

Ramapo dominated Widener from the opening faceoff. Ethan Puso opened the scoring with his first career goal unassisted at 6:01. From that point the flood gates opened. Keith Henning drove the puck into the Pride net on assists by Puso and Kyle Debel at 9:54. Debel scored a goal of his own at 13:08 assisted by Dan Demarco. Debel scored his second goal of the period at 18:47. Marc Concato and Keith Doherty picked assists. Zach O’Connor finished out the first period scoring 38 seconds later on assist by Debel and Doherty. Debel had 4 points in the period.

The second period was a duplicate of the first. Ramapo put up 5 more goals. DJ Campbell opened the scoring at just 51 seconds. Josh Filipovits and Marc Concato assisted. Matt Rose scored on a power play at 7:05 assisted by Doherty and Debel. Ramapo had two men in the box when Dan Demarco scored an unassisted shorthanded goal at 7:41. Keith Doherty from Keith Henning scored the fourth goal of the period at 10:23. Marc Concato’s slapper from the point at 17:41 capped another 5 goal period. Ramapo went into the locker room with a 10-0 lead.

As a result of the 10 goal deficit, the referees directed the timekeeper to play the period running-time. Matt Clark replaced Keith Gay in net. Andrew Kohler broke the shutout a 7:46. Kyle Debel scored his fourth goal of the game at 15:28. Matt Rose and Marc Concato received assists. Ryan Worth capped the Roadrunner scoring at 19:55. Debel and Concato assisted on the play.

Kyle Debel ended the game with 8 points, 4 goals and 4 assists; Marc Concato had 5 points, a goal and 4 assists; Keith Doherty had 4 points, a goal and 3 assists. Widener was limited to just 13 short on goal in the game; Ramapo had 47.
