MONSEY, NY – Ramapo used a three-goal second period and third period to roll over Hofstra, 7-0.
Dmitry Danilchik scored on assists by Marc Concato and Andre Vicari with only 24 seconds gone in the first period. The Roadrunners were held scoreless for the rest of the first period.
Once again Ramapo scored early at the start of a period. Pat Anzano scored at 1:15 of the second period on assists by Ethan Puso and Zach O’Connor to give Ramapo a 2-0 lead. Ramapo would not score again until 19:10 of the second period. Matt Rose scored on assists by Chris Mecca and Marc Concato. 36 seconds later at 19:46, Nolan Ouellette notched the third goal of the period on assists by Marc Concato and Dmitry Danilchik.
The Roadrunners scored three more goals in the third period on route to their 7-0 rout of The Pride. Danilchik scored at 12:42, assisted by O’Connor and Anzano added an unassisted goal at 17:55. It was Danilchik and Anzano’s second goal of the game. Ryan Worth added an unassisted score at 19:43.
Ramapo outshot Hofstra 50 to 26. In their first meeting back on October 18, Ramapo had 60 shots on goal. Keith Gay turned back 26 Hofstra shots for his first collegiate shutout.
