1. Wagner College (3/20/75)
6-5 sudden death OT wins over the Sea Hawks in the opening round of the 1974-75 season. With a never-say-die attitude, Ramapo rallied from a 5-3 deficit to tie the game at five on a Tommy Suarez goal with just forty-two seconds left in regulation time. Harry Maynes scored his fourth goal of the game at 4:17 of OT. The win put the Roadrunners into the finals for the first time.
2. County College of Morris (3/27/75)
5-0 whitewashing of the Titans at Mennen Arena to win the team’s and College’s first championship. What made the victory even sweeter was that the CCM had defeated the Roadrunners twice in the regular season (7-1 and 4-1).
3. United States Naval Academy (3/13/76)
10-1 rout of Navy before 2,100 crazed Roadrunner fans at Ice World in Totowa, New Jersey. The unsuspecting Middies were no match for the “Super Team.” This game would set the stage for a treasured rivalry.
4. United States Naval Academy (1/18/79)
7-6 sudden death OT upset victory of Navy in the finals of the Crab Pot Tournament in Annapolis, Maryland. 7. City College of New York (3/15/76)
3-2 sudden death OT loss to the Beavers at the Riverdale Rink in the Bronx, N.Y. on a deflection off a Ramapo player into the Roadrunner net. The loss was the first of the season ending the Roadrunners thirty-three game unbeaten streak.
8. City College of New York (3/17 /76)
7-2 win over the Beavers to advance to the finals of the playoffs. Two days earlier CCNY evened the best-of-three semi-finals series on a fluke goal. The Roadrunners faced a must-win situation for the first time that season. A loss would have meant elimination and all of the incredible success of the season would have been meaningless without a League championship.
